Sounds like sour grapes to me. Some may have snow and some may have Florida But Mom and I have had mostly rain and cold wind since our arrrival, for which, for which of course we are very grateful. Mom coming home was all the sunshine we needed. It's so good to have her back. Great Grandma Bixby is up speaking to the ladies of our church right now - via Mom's interruptions.

  2. Wow, wow, wow! Absolutely unfair! Today we were supposed to have snow again, but I fear it is only a cold rain. Tell my kiddos I miss them very very much.

There's no better time to visit Florida when there is snow and cold at home as the gazillion of retired snowbirds there testify to. Today it is 2 degrees and windchill at - 10.

Glad you're having a great time.

  7. It was -13F (-25C) this morning when we woke up. It isn't supposed to get above 0 all day today or tomorrow. It's early afternoon and still only -2F out there.
In other words, I don't know why everyone doesn't live in Florida!
I hope you enjoy your time, and, more importantly, it is a profitable visit for you.

  9. Great pics. The kids look so sweet and the two of you are not that bad yourselves. Markus was sad that the only time we have snow, he was in Houston and it all melted before he got home. I saved him a snowball in the freezer though.
Hope y'all have a blessed and profitable time. Can't wait to hear all about it in time.

  11. Oh, maybe we can soak in the warmth from the pictures! It's 12 degrees here this morning. The only place warm is in front of the woodstove!
