This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us.
Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Happy 8th Anniversary, Tim and Ruth!!
We love you and hope that you have a very special day!! It is hard to believe that you have been married sooooo long!!
I always thought you all still looked young until I looked again at your wedding picture. Congratulations! I am amazed how mom and I have managed to look just like the day we were married, when our kids are looking so old.
Thanks for the well wishes. We watched (the kids hang in there most of the time) our whole wedding ceremony last night. We were amazed at how much younger we looked, but consoled by how much younger a lot of other people looked! (Except for Dad and Mom, of course.)
It was also good to hear again Dad's message and his "weed-pulling" suggestions. Thank you Dad. Via video recording, you ministered again to us last night.
I'm about to take Ruth out on a small lunch date (M&L have agreed to keep our children). Then we have to drive to Greensboro tonight to hand over Mirabel to Dad and Mom Pahnke. We're meeting at a Cracker Barrel there for supper. They will keep her for the next two months. We have a service at Mt. Calvary in Greenville on Wednesday night, then it's off to Lady Lake, Florida and beyond on Saturday.
Thank you everybody! Wow. That picture is hot off the press, isn't it, Donna? (It was taken for the church directory just day before yesterday. So if you're wondering how old we look--that's pretty much it. ;-)
I am happy to say that I am still convinced that I'm married to the most wonderful man in the whole, wide world. How is it that I get to be so blessed?
Happy Anniversary!! Glad again that you choose Sept 23 instead of some unknown October date!! :-) I always think back to you wedding with very happy memories!
By the way, that is one sharp picture! Hated to cut the kids out!
