This village and chateau sit on the top of a limestone mountain. You can see for miles around. I don't think the pictures show the depth very well, but we sure did take a lot of pictures.(They are in the same album as Le Musée). You can actually climb up to the top of several places in the ruins. The younger generation would love it, but I am sure you parents would hold your breath! France is so beautiful.
This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Love this place! Soooo glad you got to get away.
ReplyDeleteIn case any of you are interested, I put the link to the Pont du Gard on that post.
ReplyDeleteWow. So beautiful! How come I have never been there? We'll have to put that on our "want to visit" list if we ever get to France!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. It looks cold there, was it?
