I had the teen and junior high girls over for the weekend. Several others joined us to go see the hot air balloons. Not nearly as impressive as last year, but we had fun none-the-less. Notice my apron.... I should post a better picture. Forgive the wet hair! Hope you all are doing something fun. I'm getting ready to go help T & R with mulch!

We're glad you had a great time. It has been cold, stormy, windy, raining, all day, but we didn't envy you. Mom and I listened to Johanna's graduate recital at least 1/2 dozen times, and it was better every time. we loved it. Had a wonderful Lord's day yesterday. Great couples meeting.
ReplyDeleteWas that an abridged version of our weekly "DAD" letter?
ReplyDeleteNot that it matters, but I'm curious to know the "Karen" who gets the weekly "DAD" letter?
ReplyDeleteMe too
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess I'm Karen...Donna! I can't imagine why it said Karen. The only thing I can think of is that Andrew used my computer Sunday under his girlfriend's name, but I've blogged since then, so.... Bizarre.
ReplyDeleteLooks like lots of fun! I can't believe what a big girl Miriam is looking like with a pony tail!!! She is growing up!
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know what the weekly "DAD" letter is.
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! We missed you all while we were gone.
ReplyDeleteIt is his "Our Sunday" which he writes very faithfully each Sunday night--unless he is too tired, too busy or just plain having too much fun. Now, Daniel, I know your name is on the list!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun and full holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteEven more full than you can see here, Jennie! We spent all Monday mulching our yard and Donna's. Perhaps we'll post those pics soon.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see the mystery has been solved. Whew! I was afraid there was another family member I still hadn't met in the nearly 7 years of my life as a Bixby! ;-)
Actually, Mom -- I'm not on the list. Could you add me?
