Last week I was in Sequoia National Park training the National Park Service. On the way out, I drove through the park and was able to stop and see the world's largest tree. It is eleven meters in diameter at the base. Hard to describe, and pictures don't do it justice. It is "only" about 2,300 years old, about 1,000 years younger than the oldest trees in that forest.It was truly amazing.
You get to see the coolest things with this job or yourn! Too bad you couldn't get a pic of yourself beside it to help visualize the size. We had a presentation on the Grand Canyon tonight at church--we have an amazing Creator-God.

Sorry, Dan. The pictures are VERY impressive - and the thought of Paul traveling to across the ocean blue to plant this little seed of a tree is very, uh, imaginative. ;-)
