Happy birthday, STEFAN!

Stefan turns 4 today!  It seems like yesterday that we were sitting around waiting for him to be born.  It is so exciting to see him grow and develop into his own personality!  Happy birthday, Stefan, we all love you TONS!

We had the great privilege to babysit Stefan while his parents went out on a date. Micaiah enjoyed getting to help feed his little cousin.

I thought I would let you in on a little of our normal morning sounds. Stefan is very talkative when he wakes up. And it is usually early. This morning he was telling Daddy a nice story so I thought I would share. (And if I'm blogging before 7 am you know he got up early!)

The Birthday Party

The Lego theme (which originated with dear friend and creative soul mate, Judy Hurst) was pulled off very effectively and cute! Stefan had certainly learned how to dig into the cake and enjoyed all the attention. Johanna did a great job on the giant cupcake cake. Notice that the decorations on the cake are actually lego gummies!!

What happens when Mommy sleeps in....

Life just takes a new twist with lots of new adventures...Papi fed me my oatmeal on the porch, gave me my first taste of chocolate bread (Yummy!!) and let me be king of the trash can. It was fun! (I was glad that Mémé changed my diapers, though.)

At 11:20 this morning, Johanna gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He was alert and ready to be loved from the first minute. 4 hours and 40 minutes from start to finish. More to follow but just to get a first picture out to you all. God is so good.
