This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Five years ago today Tim and Ruth spent their day entertained us by taking us up to the Outlet stores.... a fun, but rather long day for this Mom-to-be!! So glad to be five years down the wonderful road of training up this incredibly unique little guy!! Even this morning he surprised us by waking at 4 AM (bad dream) and has been going strong ever since. And as we laid in bed (hoping for some addition sleep) his head kept popping up so I asked what he was looking at, "I'm just looking at you, Mommy!" he said as he hugged me tight. And suddenly 4:30 am doesn't seem so bad!!
Remember that day well! We have been privileged to spend some special moments with you all as you awaited the arrival of both of your precious ones. Still amazing to think about the way God worked out so many details to give Corban to you. Can't wait to see that 5 year old while he is still 5! And, Jennie, I'm so glad to hear you say how much you're loving 4:30 am! I would deem Corban a very good reason. I think I'm about to need a good dose of your Mommy medicine. :)
Happy Birthday to sweet Corban. WE love that guy so much!!!
The one thing I know Ruth, is that when it's your baby boy, somehow the horrid hours become more sweet! However, the afternoon hours are the hardest because everyone else is wanting a piece of Mommy!! So I will be praying for you as you prep for those priceless moments as well as meeting the needs to the other three little people that still need their time with you!!
And thanks once again for all you and Tim did for us five years ago and the miracles we were all able to be a part of! My heart is overflowing with thanksgiving!!
And Auntie Johanna, Corban is still praying for a miracle to bring you all to come celebrate with us!! He can't mention turning five without making the comment that Effie is now FOUR!! love that the boys are such good friends!!
Awww, you all made me cty :-) Love all of you. When is the b'day celebration? We need to get a skype chat with him some time.
Happy birthday to my sweet Corban. It truly doesn't seem like it's been 5 years! Hugs and kisses!
