This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Happy happy birthday, Elise! I remember my 13th birthday, but it was a long long time ago! 20 years, to be exact! I got a flute for my birthday that year--unfortunately you would not know that I ever wanted one, would you?! I can't wait to hear how you celebrate today. Maybe you'll be home when I try to call tonight. Did you still have to go to school on your big day? I love you!

We love you,

We love you and hope your birthday is the bestest! We're so glad we got to visit with you recently. You definitely proved your maturity to us! Thanks again for being so great with our kids. You're the best!
Happy Birthday! Remember I used to call you "Buttons"? You're way too old for that now!
Happy Birthday our dear sweet Elise! Hope you are having a wonderful day and that they all remembered to bring in your breakfast this morning! When's the big party planned for and how are you celebrating the beginning of a new era?
We love you oodles, and can't wait to see you all again at Thanksgiving!
Love, Auntie Jennie, Patience and Corban
(I see Uncle Bob sent you his own wishes)
Happy Birthday to our very first grand-daughter!!! We love you. You are a special girl and we are so thankful for your sweet, loving spirit.
Yep, she sure is 13! I can't believe it. Anyway, I have a lot of prep to do for her birthday meal tonight.....This is her menu:
7 layer salad
fruit/marshmallow salad
sticky buns
swiss cheese chicken breasts
mashed potatoes
poppy seed cake with white frosting served with Reese's Peanut butter cup ice cream!!!!!
:-)
Wow! Quite the menu!
Wow! If it weren't that that meal had already ended, we just might have headed back up to MN! Got any leftovers?
