Enjoyed a "rigorous/strenuous" (using the word on the board at the bottom) hike up Jones Gap this afternoon. It was pretty steep. Rebekah had said, "It's pretty straight up, but then it evens out a bit so you can catch your breath." "Pretty straight up" was accurate! It was fun, and we did it in about 30 minutes--1.5 miles "pretty straight up!" GORGEOUS weather we are having. Spring is tempting us! These photos were all taken on my camera. We did get one at the bottom before we left and when we got back, but I think I must have left my camera in her car!

IMPRESSIVE!!! looks like it was lots of fun. we are hoping spring is just around the corner, too.
oh, wow. Love Jones' Gap. And what an impressive hike! Enjoy that springlike weather. We're enjoying some of it here, too. Mom & Dad's plum tree is just about ready to burst with blossoms.
