I finally did it!

Tonight I went with my friend, Kylie, to get my ears pierced! It didn't hurt TOO badly, and I'm glad I made the brave decision. (Isabelle was dying to go with and get hers peirced too, but that did not happen. She stayed home with her brother.) We went to a place in the Mall of America, and a girl from church who worked their did them for us.

Congrats!! Looks like you were very brave and that your friend at the store knew what she was doing. It's good to know people in the right places!

Wow, Elise! I didn't think that you would ever be THAT brave :-) Now, aren't you sorry you didn't do it in FRANCE?? I'm with Aunt Donna--it will be easy to think of a birthday present for you! Love you. Can't believe you are getting to be such a young lady.

It's hard to believe my little girl is growing up.

Congratulations, Elise. A landmark event! I remember 12 was a big coming-of-age year for me growing up.

And I'm glad to hear from Dan. I was wondering how the father would handle this major step into womanhood. ;-)

Oops! That last comment was from me, not from my sweet husband, lest any of you should wonder.
