Yesterday the kids and I went to my parents and enjoyed the sunshine.
Corban learned that he LOVES mud pies!
and Patience learned to ride her bike!!
This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Toothless, riding bikes, ouch! She really is growing up! And Corban looks like he is having WAY too much fun! And Mommy and Corban look wonderful. LOVE the pictures! Thanks for posting.
Oh...that looks like so much fun. So the sun has come out in IL too? Isn't it nice to be able to go outdoors! I'm loving it!
The pics are great!
There is just way too much personalilty wrpped up in that little face!!
I am assuming that Corban's face is somewhere behind that mouth. Wow, what an expression.

AWWWWW!!! What dumplin's! Patience, you're gonna have to come and help Isa. We haven't had her bike out yet, but last summer it had training wheels.....yours doesn't! I'm so impressed. :-)
It looks like your weather has warmed up!! Way to go, Patience! You really are getting to be a big girl! I love Corban's look!
Patience there are 8 comments but I wrote #2 to you, and #3 about Corban. That one got printed twice, and the one to you didn't make it. So I'll try again, because I want you to know that I think that learning to ride a bike is one of the greatest experiences of growing up. in fact it raises your whole level of living.
I well remember that day it happened for me. I hope you didn't have to crash land like I did, but at least you didn't lose your two front teeth doing it. Congratulations!
p.s. I'm saving this in Word because I lost it a third time.
Thanks Grandpa for your perseverance! She did have one crash landing, but she was well equipped with helmet and knee/elbow pads. She is quite pleased with herself and can't wait for another nice day to go to the country (Grandpa Martin's) and ride. (too many hills and cars at home for a beginner) She has proven her Daddy right that skipping the training wheels stage is the way to go!
Funny, I still feel as if I don't capture Corban's true personality in the photos... he is a spunky guy with way more ideas than a 15 month old should have. I don't think I sat for more than 2 mns at a time yesterday, and he gleefully ran faster from me every time I got up!! -- we all slept well last night!
Is that your new diet regime? I've noticed that you look like you've gotten skinny!!
THAT'S GREAT!
Yup! That's the new life routine! My Mom wonders what I will do when Corban goes out of this stage... I'm not worried yet-- I think we will be here for a few years!! :-)
