Your beautiful smile always lights up the room when you enter. Thanks for being such a great wife to my bro, mother to my nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law to my parents, sister-in-law to me and my other siblings, aunt to my other nieces and nephews, and cousin to my sister-in-law! Whew--you are a lot of things to a lot of people! You are one busy woman! We love you and hope that you have a wonderful day and get very spoiled by your wonderful family. (And you have the same beautiful smile you did when you were just a teenager!)

Happy Birthday, Brenda! Hope you have a great day. I am sure you will be spoiled by that sweet family of yours!
Happy Birthday, Brenda. Hope your family makes it a big celebration---(I'm sure they will!)
Happy, happy birthday, from the travelin Bixbys!!
Happy Birthday dear girl! Any special plans for the day?? Wish we could be there to help you celebrate!! Can't wait to hear how your little trip with the Drury girls went. Love ya, Jen
Happy birthday, dear sister-in-law. Donna did a pretty good job showing the many faces of Brenda. What a doll you are! ;-)
Just today, for the very first time I listened to and watched the video of Johanna's and Brian's wedding and so enjoyed the solo so beautifully sung. I thanked the Lord for the wonderful wife of my son. Happy birthday.
Happy Birthday, Brenda! Hope you get spoiled and spoiled by your family.
Ahhhh...
You guys are so sweet. I think you are all right on!
We're on our way out to dinner at Doolittles to celebrate, since I've failed to do any planning. :-(
A funny story...
There was a message on our machine from an assistant teacher at school. She just had to call and tell Brenda that she looked very good for her age. Isabelle was very excited that it was her mom's birthday, so she asked her how old she was. She very dogmatically proclaimed that she was just turning 78!
Have we mentioned that numbers are challenging in the Bixby household? Donna -- I think we need some tutoring (you're probably only in your 60's!)
TOO FUNNY!!! Don't ya just love it!! If only they could drop a few years on us instead... like she's turning "26"...
So, how was Doolittle's?? We want to know how the birthday girl was spoiled!!! Enjoyed chatting with you a bit Brenda Lou, but I fear that we only solved the tip of the ice-berg of the worlds problems.... must do it again soon!!
Hilarious! I'm open to tutoring--nieces and nephews that is. And, I'm thrilled to know I'm 18 whole years younger than Brenda, that makes me what?, a mere 20! Ah, life is just beginning! (Sorry I missed you last night. For some reason I thought from Jennie's comments that you were away today.) I'll call soon and prolong your bday--oh, and I'll send a card, too, but again, I must not break from tradition and send on time! (I think I still have Ben and Dan's to mail--Yikes, I'm getting worse and worse--and I was just reading about how to be a good aunt--I fear I've failed miserably.) Post pics!
Oh, I was spoiled. I'm very well taken care of, even if I'm turning 78! (I think 78 was in her brain because it's what my dad just turned when she was up north celebrating with him!)
My mom and dad, Susan, Wendy and Molly all took me to Caffe Latte in downtown St. Paul. It was delicious! Then, after that rather LARGE meal, I was escorted off to Doolittles with my people. It was delicious, and gluttony abounded, I'm afraid! :-/
Thanks for the well wishes!
Happy Birthday, Sister-in-Law.
