This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Great, but wish you would write something about the ladies conference at your church.
I'm glad it went well and that you could go along this year, Jennie.
I will, I will... my problem is when I'm in charge I forget to take pictures sadly enough. So I have a request in to Joy to forward some to me so I can post them. Another reason why Donna needs to plan on coming next year-- to be my photographer, and then I need an editor... a food critic... and a pianist, anyone who I could recruit??? It would be a fun Bixby girls retreat time!! We loved having A. Theresa and U Paul here. Just chatting about that this morning in our coffee time. Mom, you and Dad could fly in too and have a little reunion!! What fun!!!
Glad you go to go. Forgot you were there and was wondering why we hadn't heard from you. Glad you know you are alive and well! So desperately can't wait to hear about the ladies conference.
Hey Jen! What a sharp looking couple you two are! ZOWIE!!!!
Glad you were able to go and have a little 'get-away' without the kids.
Daniel is so pumped up, he won't stop talking about everything. I'm so tickled that he was able to go and sit under those guys. Wow. (slightly jealous I wasn't there to take it in with him, but with how busy he was, it's probably good I stayed behind.)
About the ladies conference--I'm sad that I wasn't able to make it, I think your ideas are great for next year, Jennie. Put us to work!
I would have loved to have heard Aunt Theresa!
I was going to post, but Bob beat me to it. Wow! That's about all I can say. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to go. Dad and Tim, I really, really wish you could have been there. You should listen to the MP3s if you get a chance. Unfortunately, they didn't record the panel discussions, which were, in my opinion, just as profitable or more. I'm interested in Bob's thoughts.
The music was great as well. It was amazing to hear that many men singing. Bob, Bob Kauflin has a great story about the pastor from India on his blog. He also posted the music from each session.

It will take me years to read the books we got. I can't believe how many we got.
Bob, thanks for encouraging me to go. I wish I could have spent more time with you guys. Brenda was not happy that I didn't have any pictures of you. Thanks for posting.
Here is the link.
Thanks Dan for the link. That story is sweet.
I like Brenda am bummed that we didn't get a picture together with you Dan. We didn't even get a shot of our entire group together... UGH!! At least you all know that we went I guess....
Well, since I was on my 'bed of affliction' this past weekend, I was able to listen to ALL of them. I wish I could have been there. Maybe in 2 years....hummmm that's kinda weird to think about. Isa will be 8, Ben will be 13-YIKES!, and Elise will be 15-Yikes squared!!!! :-)
