A Few Shots

I really didn't take any pictures as I was too busy with the reception, but thankfully, Ruth got a few. She'll have to blog more from her camera.

Trying AGAIN!

Soakin' up the love!

Charming Auntie Donna from the get go--and gettin' spoiled! And, sleeping in "Grandma on the West Side's" arms! (Not sure why Judy calls herself that, but...)!

Jo and Stefan are here!

Arriving at the airport
after sitting on the tar mat for nearly 45 minutes!

A smile for Auntie Donna!

A sleepy boy!

Wedding Preps, Well, Cake Prep!

The styrofoam cake is now finished and resting calmly in the Hampton Park refridgerator! It still has the finishing touches, but basically it is done! Nice to do styro--it can sit a LONG time! Now, on to the final preps today, and wedding tomorrow!

24-hour getaway!

I went up with Michael and Liz to the Cole Sr.'s yesterday.
I do think they were truly born in the wrong century!
It was sooo relaxing!
After spending some time in the pool, we cooked dinner over the open fire.
(Well, "we" would not include "me", I just partook!).
It was delicious!

Then Michael taught me how to shoot a BB Gun. My first ever shoot!
On my first shot I was just about an inch from the bull's eye
which was about 50 yards away, I think!
(I marked it, but it got cut out of the picture.)

Pretty impressive, heh?!

You're Invited...

To stroll down Main Street and visit the quaint shops of the New England town of Chatham, MA.

...to dip your feet in the cool water...

...and play on the beautiful sandy beach of Cape Cod...

...and of course visit us!

You guys needing a romantic get-a-way to take your wives? Come visit us, take a night or two away alone, and we'll keep the kids. How's that for a good deal?

This Father's Day week....

...I've been very grateful for a dad who taught me to eat and be grateful for anything put in front of me.

Minnesota Father's Day

My family took good care of me today. We had a wonderful meal and have just been spending time together. Notice the tie theme?

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to the most wonderful dad around. Thank you for being a faithful husband, a consistent father, a loving grandfather, and a godly example.
WE LOVE YOU!

Family Fun Fest!

Family Fun Fest

I trust Donna will post some more pics later, but I thought I'd post just a few pics from our Family Fun Fest day at CPBC. Donna deserves great Kudos for all she did as one of the primary components of pulling this event together. It seemed to be a great success, which we hope will open up more doors into our community. One thing is for sure: the Bixby family had fun! It was also some of the craziest attire you'll ever see this gang in!

"Spring Cleaning!""

We had our annual Ladies Banquet today. The theme was "Spring Cleaning." It was a fun theme to work with. Sylvia Christy was the speaker and she did a great job. Audrey and Lydie did a skit, Hyo Soeng led in a game, "The Clothespin Queen," we had some specials and a super good Korean meal basically done by Hyo Soeng. We ended up with 29 ladies and girls. It was fun. Now we need to get ready for Father's Day tomorrow! Here are more pictures, if you are interested.

"What a Guy!!"

Remodeling is definitely not Dad's favorite thing, but he has been a trooper is persistently trying to do something with the downstairs bathroom. We have been at it for two weeks now and today we are finally "going up" instead of "tearing down." Our goal is to finish before Donna comes but then we have a ladies banquet on Saturday and it would be nice if it looked "presentable." Just thought I would beat you all to an early Father's day laud! He's quite a guy!
