...at least in Minnesota. But we've had fun, and I thought you'd enjoy some pictures the kids took the other day. It was all fun and games until Elise lost her head:

This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Fall is fun. I've kept up with my leaves thus far this Fall. I have a big pile in the backyard to pick up, but last year it snowed on me before I had my leaves up!
Great pictures!

Nice pictures. Thanks for posting, Dan. I trust Elise eventually got her head screwed on straight again? You guys are pretty funny (and creative, too)! ;-)
Very funny! And I LOVE the pics. I admit, I sat there looking at the pic trying to figure out where the head was! Quite grotesque, if you ask me!! (Bring back memories, Tim?)
Oh I love the pictures! It looks like everyone was having so much fun!
Looks like fun!!! Patience is a bit bummed that her Dad is keeping up so well with the leaves this year. ...
What's that supposed to mean, Jen? :-)
We've tried. The church teens have even done it once.
I hope this is the last time.
This grandma would be much more assured if she saw the heard attached!! Really, you do take great pictures. Love the mall. Thanks for posting. I would think you would be in winter mode there--I think the east has had snow already.
What does "love the mall" mean?
Dan, it simply means that there are no large piles of leaves to jump in as is tradition in the Rfd Bixby home. She is MUCH less concerned with the blot on her Dad's leaf gathering record than the fact that she is MISSING out on a TRADITION!!! (important side note:this year he is mow/mulching the leaves instead of raking)
Donna, don't you think Mom is just letting us know where she would be if having the choice between jumping in leaves or shopping?
Mom, the "heard" is definitely attached. Not sure about the head, though.
Sorry; you all. My computer had problems this morning (I am sure that my 'heard" didn't.) Jennie was probably right--I was running to carrefour and was wishing it was to a mall :-)
I still want to know what you meant by the mall?
Donna, I think she meant Fall. Of course, she could have meant ball, call, hall, tall, wall...
Oh, love theM ALL! Duh. Sorry, Mom! I was reading it at 5am!
No Donna, I'm with you. I hadn't the slightest idea what mall had to do with anything. Jennie just confused me, and Mom's response didn't help. Daniel cleared it up for me, though I was confused with so many options. Those are lovely pictures.
LOL!! You guys crack me up!!! :-) I love ya all!!
Oh, wait, did she mean I love the Fall or I love them all? Now, I'm totally confused! (See what confusion one little typo can make? Let this be a lesson!!)
You all are tooooooooooo much. In reading it over, I think the typo is "I love them all!" And of course, Head not heard...now post again Dan --you sure do get the comments!!
Aned hear eye thawt I was thee ownly won hoo haad tie-pose.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
