Happy Father's Day, Dad. In many ways you have exemplified the kind of father I want to be for my children, particularly the tenderness with which you loved your small children. You had/have a great capacity for making young children feel loved. That's a gift; and it is something that now that I am a father of small people have come value and seek to emulate in my own life because of the long life tender affection has in the memories of those who were blessed by it in their youth.
