It's Clearly Crystal!

I promised to blog something about our two girls (Crystal and Alicia) so here goes... I will start with Crystal since she has been here the longest and is leaving first. We have really enjoyed having her with us this year. We were disappointed that her teaching position was not right in Bordeaux, but it has worked out that she is here more than she is there! She has become a vital part of the church and a real part of our family (according to several of our kids from different countries, she is related anyway since she is our daughter-in-law’s niece—they just can’t quite figure out what she is—our great niece-in-law?) She has been lots of fun to have around and a big help to us in many ways. Besides all the other things she does, she has helped a lot with the music. She is the pianist for the cantata that we are doing next week. One outstanding characteristic of Crystal is her thoughtfulness. She is really "Crystal Clear." We will miss her when she leaves on May 2 (the day we leave, too) and are praying that she gets another contract for next year. Posted by Picasa

*ahem*

In the event that BX not work out next year, you will have a bit of opposition if you try to lure her down south....

Thanks for all the nice pictures of Crystal. It was great to see her sweet smile. We are counting the days until we can see her right here in ROCKFORD IL. Patience says a month is still a long time!! :-(
