This is a family blog. Visitors are always welcome. We'll love your comments! In fact, the Bixbys have always been very hospitable. But remember: this is a family blog. It is about us. Oh-- and Family, remember that visitors drop in any time they want. So let's keep things in the closet and under the bed that should stay out of sight to visitors. Let's be real, but as Dad used to say, "Remember your last name!"

Oh, by the way, the lucky guy is Josh Moye.
Check it out at: http://sbixbyfam.blogspot.com/
I thought it was August 16th?
Nice picture of the happy couple!
Oops it is!
I don't understand the discussion. is the wedding for August the 16th, the 16th, or the 16th? Which is it? Obviously I'm missing something.
Donna has erred in blogging protocol, Dad. When corrected by a commenter as she was by Johanna she can change the original, but she should make notice of that change either in the post itself or in the comment section. I can't imagine how many hundreds of our readers are confused.
Tsk, tsk, Donna.
By the way, on a completely different but relevant note: a blog is a blog, a post is a post, and a comment is a comment and never shall the three be used interchangeably.
Phew! Got that off my chest!
For clarification: We have ONE blog, daily posts, and often times many comments for each post!
BTW again, the above two posts were written by Bob.
Whew! When I read the last two "comments" I was sure that it had to be Bob NOT jenEBix. Bob has various names on this "blog" but not usually his dear wife's. It just sounded so much like my son that I was relieved to see I was right. So, "Bixby Bulletin" himself, why not "post" some pictures of your sweet children?
I believe Bob erred in blogging protocol by using another's name when posting a comment on a post on our blog.
I don't know about you all, but I am relieved that I didn't type those comments! ;-) I try to leave the directness to my better (Bixby) half! :-)
I am so happy for Amber and hope she enjoys all the thrills of planning a wedding to begin her "ever-after" life with Josh. And may it be a happy, joyous, and prosperous "ever after" to the Praise of His Glorious Grace!
Way to go, Dan! BTW, you could post some pics of your adorable children, too, you know!
