I am grateful to be done with this part of my grad degree. Overall, I was pleased, especially as I have been really sick. There was a really great attendance of about 90 some people. Some of my students came which you see in the picture. Donna and Judy had a fabulous spread ready for the reception.
It's over and I'm ready to crash!

We are so, so proud of you and we are so, so glad it is over, too! Looks wonderful and thanks for blogging so quickly. Now, go get some rest and get better. We love you.
Congrats, Jo!! I love the pic of the four Bixby girls. Miriam's face is precious.
Jo did a GREAT job. Before her last piece I was wondering if she was going to come back out, but she did and made it through. The Lord was good. We had about 60 for the reception which was nice. Most people stayed quite a while. Dr. Davis was impressed with our church turnout! We LOVE our church!
Hey Jo! :) Congratulations! Was praying last night and this afternoon; glad the Lord granted strength. i'm sure it sounded excellent!
Yipee! Jo! We're so thrilled it is all over for you. That's great.
I'm so sad to hear you've been feeling so crummy. Hopefully, you'll be able to get lots of rest.
Bix girls, you look so cute, and the spread you put out looks GREAT!
Wish we could have been there.:-/
Jo - I'm so happy for you. I'm sure you did a great job. I really, really wish I could have been there.
I know how much work that was.
I'm sorry you weren't feeling well.
i Love you.
The middle, Andante movement of her Bach Italian Concerto was my personal favorite. She played it exceptionally well and very musically! Micaiah, who by the way, sat very quietly in the performance, liked the "Water Song" (Ravel's Jeux d'eau).
P.S. Micaiah had sat more towards the back with his daddy while I sat more up front. Afterwards, he asked me, "Mommy, did you hear how I was being so quiet?"
Johanna, I am glad it went well! I was praying for you a lot. I didn't know you had been sick - poor thing! I will try to call soon to hear more about it.
Love,
Kristi
So happy for you, Jo. Keep it all in your head. I want you to do it for us sometimes (up here in Rockford). How 'bout a mini-concert on Thanksgiving!
Good job, Micaiah. Bixby boys have a more-than-normal tough time, I do believe. You probably did better than your Uncle Daniel would have.
