Visit from the Allen Family
We really enjoyed the quick visit from Ron Allen (Pastor at Bible Baptist in Charlotte where Donna used to teach and one of our supporting churches) and his family this past weekend. He, his wife Janice and their four children were all a delight and blessing to us. They were only here for a day and a half, but we squeezed as much as possible into that time. The children sang a quartet for church and Ron preached with Dad translating. Then we had a repas fraternal after which we went to St. Emillion. Monday morning under very wet weather, we visited downtown and then they took us out to eat at the Entrecote (always delicious!). About 3 we headed for Spain in two cars. We met Keisers and Bergmans at McDonalds parking lot. Allens were going home with the Keisers. We had a quick supper with Bergmans and did some shopping. We were back home at midnight.

cool. i met them when i photographed michael and liz cole's wedding. that is so great that they got to spend time as a family over there and mingle with the people of a church they've supported.
Cute pic on the turtle!
Been a long time since you've had a pastor of a supporting church visit you. That's great. Glad you had a good visit.
Have you girls even seen the turtle, or is it new since you were here? I know Dan and fam did.
Actually, Jo, it has been about a year and a half since we had a visiting pastor from a supporting church. The pastor's name was Tim and he has a wonderful wife and family! Can't wait for them to come again--and stay!
Yes, I've seen the turtle.
