Happy Birthday, Bob!

The years have a way of flying by--but we still remember vividly the birth of our first-born! You were special then and still are. We love you and hope that you have a wonderful day and year!

You probably would have made a nicer blog--someone had borrowed my computer so all the newer pictures were unavailable. Anyway, I thought he looked quite handsome here.

Happy birthday, Uncle/brother Bob.
We probably woke you up trying to call you this morning. Hopefully you'll get to sleep in a little.
Love, The Dan Fam

Thank you, everyone!

Dan, sorry I missed your call. I was up at 4:00 this morning so it certainly wouldn't have woken me up. Old men get up early, you know.

Jennie, you really should try to tell Bob in person...
(Just my marital advice...)

Dan, Thank you so much for your advice. I really do try, but sometimes it's just hard to communicate with a guy that gets up at 4 in the morning! If he just weren't so busy.... Mmmm... maybe if I would make a nice dinner for him ... Keep posted to see if that happens!

Happy birthday, Bob! Hope your family spoils you.

Ha!! Your funny Brian!! ... poor guy had to work all day and all night. We saw him for a quick bite at lunch time. But for reminders sake we celebrated BOTH of our birthdays last January at the Mozart concert. Sorry we missed both of your phone calls today Mom and Dad. We won't point fingers but the phone was out of hearing range!

For some reason I thought I'd given you an official Happy Birthday blog. You got it on the answering machine. I hope we can catch you maybe today to do it in person. I have difficulty fathoming having a 38 year old son. I was younger than that when we left Africa and went to Toulouse. And when I was your age I had a 15 year old son. Wow! Happy Birthday for the 38th time. You are one amazing son of whom I am very proud.
