Happy Birthday, Daniel!

Happy Birthday to our second son! We love you and are praying that this year will be a special one for you. It is hard to believe that your dramatic birth was actually 36 years ago. Switzerland days seem like a dream, but we will never forget your birth day. We are very proud of the son/husband/father/friend/etc. you have become.

Can it be that I'm first to say happy birthday - after Mom? I was the last to say it to Bob (on the blog). From the time of your dramatic birth we never doubted that the Lord had preserved you for something special. You have always been one exceptional and beloved son. I love you. Happy 36th birthday.

Happy bday, Dan! Where are you celebrating this year? I'm assuming you are back at home and having a nice breakfast in bed and a lazy day--hah! I hope, however, even if it's not lazy, that it is a good one. I'll give you a call while I'm sitting in airports today. You're one of the best brothers a girl could have. I love you, Donna

Thank you, everyone.
Brenda is gone at the Ladies' Church Retreat (it got postponed until this weekend due to the funeral a few weeks ago.)
The kids brought me breakfast in bed, and I have spent the rest of the morning at the License Center, getting my license renewed. I didn't want to pull off a Timothy!
Thanks for all the well wishes. Mom, am I to read that as "Switzerland was a dream, your birth was a nightmare"? :-)
By the way, we are home. Brenda and I will leave for Denver on Tuesday.

Oh... and is that the best picture you have of me?
I hope I look much better in person!

Dan,
I think you look great. Your balding head is an inspiration to me. I love and respect you.

Hey! That picture of Danno is pretty funny! :-)

He looks mid-sentence! :-)

He kind of had a bum birthday, but he's sweet about it. We ended up going out for supper as a family, and Elise baked him a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting! :-) His birthday doesn't often fall on a Saturday, and I was gone almost the entire day. bummmer. Oh well. He did get breakfast in bed from his kids....I haven't had a chance to even look at them yet, so HOPEFULLY, we can blog them soon. If you care! :-)

we do! want to see them that is! Sorry you didn't like the picture. I thought it was good except that he was talking or something :-)

Bum birthday?? breakfast in bed, chocolate cake, peanut butter icing, a brand new driver's licence. What more could a guy want for his birthday?

Grand Piano, flat screen TV, BMW, Season tickets to any major MN sports team, that's about all.:-)

I'm ALWAYS mid sentence :-).
Brenda makes me sound so materialistic. Actually, I would settle for a baby grand and a Lexus.

What about the mansion to put the baby grand in??
