Independence Day in Spartanburg

Here are a few pics from our Independence Day celebrations. We had a nice time with a small group from church. Tim invited Bruce, an old friend from UPS, to join us. Originally we were going to eat on the lawn outside the Coles' house, but moved into the parsonage when it started to pour down rain! The sunshine wasn't too far behind, though. So we served the food in the house and ate on the porch. We turned dessert time into a little birthday party for Tim & Liz as they both will be going "over the hill" in a few days turning 30! The evening was capped off by a captivating fireworks demonstration by my pyromaniac husband. It was nice evening.

Very nice. I would love to have been there. Was Bruce the man in the picture I didn't recognize? You know we have the 4th in France too don't you? Get it? We also have the 14th shortly.

Looks like fun! Funny, I was just thinking of Bruce the other day and wondered how he was doing. Good to "see" him. Looks like the kids enjoyed the fireworks!

Looks like you celebrated! I am getting nervous about my "baby boy" turning 30 in a few days. Hard to believe!

What a nice day it looks like you had. Glad to see that your kids love the FW's as much as you, Tim!!
