Our "Stormy" Breakfast

This morning we woke up to windows clanging and shutters creaking. By the time we were all around the breakfast table, the wind was really fierce. Dad made a comment about how the Lord was in control of the elements and just as he said that we looked out the window to see a tree falling in slow motion! It was uprooted from two houses over, fell on the neighbor's car (that isn't ours!), smashed our clothes line and just missed the Bergman's van. The Lord was taking care of us because Alicia had driven our car to take Crystal to the bus stop and a branch of the plum tree (picture underneath) landed right where the car would have been. By the way, by the time we finished breakfast a very dripping wet Crystal returned--she decided that the bus was not going to make it any time soon.
